“Oasis” provides the following funded services: Community participation, Active ageing, centre based with Community Activities. Programs including learning life skills, and increasing independence, Arts and Craft, and music. Funded by Ageing, Disability and Home Care.
TRANSITION TO WORK PROGRAM
For school leavers with a learning disability, an intellectual disability or an acquired brain injury that are assessed as being able to gain employment with the right support. The program assists with learning skills, planning, work sampling, job trials and so much more.
Maurie Britten House is purpose built to allow residents to age in their community without being placed in a nursing home setting prematurely. The house provides for seven permanent residents and three villas.
Assists and supports people with a disability and/or Acquired Brain Injury with: lifestyle planning, access to resources, daily living skills, health needs, Maintaining family relationships, Connecting to community, accessing other services that can meet individual needs.
Macleay Options chooses to support the wider community in a variety of ways including Training Long Term Unemployed through the work for the dole program, Participating in gardening projects beautifying our local area; working collaboratively with Council initiatives in recycling projects and actively seeking to employ a percentage of our workforce from disadvantaged backgrounds.
